"Yappie" is a web series created by Wong Fu Productions. It is a single-camera comedy that explores the social and racial issues related to the contemporary Asian American experience from the perspective of Andrew and his friends who are all "yappies". Andrew is a 29 year old Chinese American who, for most of his life, has never questioned his place or his purpose, unintentionally becoming a "model minority". But for the first time, due to some new influences and experiences, Andrew is discovering the effects of his invisibility on the canvas of diversity and is finally realizing he wants to do something about it.
The series currently has over 4.4 million views on YouTube and it was nominated at the 2018 Streamy award for Best Show of the Year and Best Indie Web Series.

An acoustic remix of "Slow Dancing in the Dark" was released as a single on 18 October 2018. It features Joji singing over a solo piano backing played by co-producer Carol Kuswanto.
The remix has over 4.2 million plays on Spotify and 2 million on YouTube.

Award-winning filmmaker and creator of “Dear White People” Justin Simien is set to direct Warner Bros. untitled Sylvia Robinson project about the famed singer, songwriter, and Sugar Hill Records founder known as ‘The Mother of Hip-Hop’.
Paula Wagner acquired the film rights to Robinson’s life story five years ago from Sylvia Robinson’s son Joey Robinson. Wagner, who produced last year’s Marshall and the new Broadway musical Pretty Woman, produces through her Chestnut Ridge Productions along with Homegrown Pictures’ Stephanie Allain and Kraftbox Entertainment’s Robert Kraft.

Carol Kuswanto accompanied 88rising’s NIKI on the piano for her rendition of “Slow Dancing in the Dark” at the Bill Graham Civic Auditorium. This performance was a surprise celebration for the release of Joji’s debut album, “Ballads 1”, which debuted as No. 1 on Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums Chart. This was the first time the song was performed by another artist other than Joji. This was also the last show of the 88rising 2018 American tour. Although the label did not release an official video of the performance, fans have shared the videos online and since then have received positive feedback.
“Alexander at the End of the World” is a short film by Tanju Ozdemir. It tells a story of a Turkish photographer's search of his identity in which the romantic is entangled with the political.
